## The Story of the Release

Colder Streams is the eleventh and definitive studio album by celebrated Canadian roots and garage-rock band The Sadies, released on July 22, 2022 through Dine Alone Records. Produced in Montreal by Richard Reed Parry of Arcade Fire and recorded with engineer Pietro Amato at Skybarn Studio, the album stands as the band's crowning achievement and the poignant final recorded work of founding co-frontman Dallas Good, who passed away unexpectedly before its release. Colder Streams was shortlisted for the 2023 Polaris Music Prize and won the 2023 Juno Award for Adult Alternative Album of the Year.
