## The Story of the Release

Homeland is the sophomore studio album by Ottawa folk-rock trio School House. Formed in 2021 when three best friends moved together into a century-old rural schoolhouse, the group developed an instinctive, harmony-drenched songwriting style born around late-night kitchen tables and woodstove fires. Across eleven dynamic tracks, Homeland explores modern quarter-life transitions, touring life, and the realization that home is an anchor found in chosen family rather than a permanent postal code.
