About
The artist
Adi Braun is a Toronto-born jazz and cabaret vocalist, composer, broadcaster, and educator who grew up in Europe before studying at the Royal Conservatory of Music and the University of Toronto. After beginning in classical recital, opera, and operetta, she returned to jazz and cabaret in the late 1990s and developed a style she calls cabarazz. Her six-album catalog ranges from Canadian repertoire and Weimar cabaret to the 2023 Cole Porter collection Night and Day. Braun continues to perform in Ontario, including concerts in 2025 and 2026, and co-hosts Classical Mornings on The New Classical FM.
