About
The artist
Aeternam formed in Quebec City in 2007 around vocalist and guitarist Achraf Loudiy and drummer Antoine Guertin. The band developed an epic death metal sound that brings extreme-metal riffing together with symphonic scale, world-music melodies, and historical storytelling. Its five-album catalog runs from Disciples of the Unseen in 2010 through Heir of the Rising Sun in 2022. The latter was named Angry Metal Guy's top album of 2022. Aeternam remains active with a current four-member lineup and a confirmed 2026 appearance at Montreal's ProgStorm Festival.
