The artist
Aldo Nova is a Montreal singer, songwriter, guitarist, keyboardist, producer, arranger, and engineer who emerged internationally with his self-titled 1982 debut and the single Fantasy. He followed it with Subject...Aldo Nova and Twitch before expanding into songwriting and production for artists including Jon Bon Jovi and Céline Dion. Nova earned a Grammy as a contributor to Dion's Album of the Year winner Falling Into You and wrote or co-wrote a long series of songs for her in English and French. After a long recording hiatus, he returned to his own work and developed the rock opera The Life and Times of Eddie Gage through his label Viral Entertainment. A new ten-song preview EP arrived in May 2026, alongside renewed live performances, including a return to the Casino de Montréal after recovering from a serious accident.
