The artist

Allan Rayman is a Toronto-based singer-songwriter whose deliberately guarded public persona is matched by music that moves between alternative R&B, hip-hop, grunge, soul, and rock. After beginning his recording career in the mid-2010s, he developed the recurring Roadhouse world across Hotel Allan, Roadhouse 01, Harry Hard-On, Christian, Roadhouse 02, and The All Allan Hour. His catalog also includes the Courtney and Verona's Mixtape EPs and collaborations with Jessie Reyez and James Vincent McMorrow. Rayman received a 2018 Juno Award nomination for Breakthrough Artist of the Year. The 2025 album #1 Girl and The All Allan Hour Unplugged, recorded live in Toronto, extend a catalog built around grainy vocals, uneasy characters, and cinematic sequencing.
