About

The artist

Alphonse Bisaillon is a francophone singer-songwriter, pianist, arranger, and performer from Saint-Hyacinthe and based in Montréal. After studying music and literature, he emerged through Ma Première Place des Arts in 2022 and released a self-titled EP that same year through L-A be. His songs use dense wordplay, narrative characters, piano-led writing, theatrical humour, and arrangements that move between pop, chanson, jazz, strings, synthesizers, and Québécois traditional elements. Recognition from Stingray, Télé-Québec, SiriusXM, the Prix Mouffe, and Vue sur la relève supported appearances in Canada and France. His first full-length album, t.o.m. ou la trajectoire des perséides, arrived in February 2026 with Bisaillon credited for lyrics, music, co-production, arrangements, vocals, keyboards, and sound design. His official Bandcamp identifies Montréal, while current Quebec presenter and festival listings confirm continued activity.
