About
The artist
Amylie is the stage name of Montréal-based singer-songwriter and producer Amylie Boisclair. Originally from Mascouche, she released Jusqu'aux oreilles in 2008 and followed it with Le Royaume in 2012. The latter earned a Juno Award nomination for Francophone Album of the Year, while the song Les filles reached number one on the BDS chart and received SOCAN recognition. Amylie produced her third album, Les éclats, in 2016 and earned an ADISQ nomination for Production of the Year. She has also worked in the collective Louve with Ariane Moffatt, Marie-Pierre Arthur, Salomé Leclerc, and Laurence Lafond-Beaulne. In 2024 she returned with Ma lumière et mon ombre, an EP created with Alex McMahon that combines piano, electronic sound, and symphonic arrangements around self-acceptance and inner change. À quoi bon followed in 2025. Her official Bandcamp identifies Montréal, Quebec, and the exact Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, and official-site catalogs align without an identity collision.
