About

The artist

Ana & Eric is an acclaimed Brazilian-Canadian musical duo formed by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Ana Luisa Ramos and composer, guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist Eric Taylor Escudero, based in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. Combining the rhythmic elegance and acoustic warmth of Brazilian bossa nova with the narrative depth of East Coast indie folk, the duo performs in both English and Portuguese. Since relocating to Newfoundland, they have earned widespread regional acclaim, including MusicNL and East Coast Music Award nominations. Their discography features their self-titled debut EP, their 2023 full-length album Our House From Here, and their 2026 single Autumn Bliss. Through intimate arrangements and poignant bilingual lyricism, Ana & Eric explore universal themes of migration, belonging, and cross-cultural homecoming.
