About

The artist

Born in Guelph, Ontario, Andrea Lindsay discovered French as a young adult and later settled in Montréal, where she developed a predominantly French-language songwriting career. After the English-language duo Tuesday 5, she released La belle étoile in 2006 and won the 2010 Juno Award for Francophone Album of the Year with Les sentinelles dorment. Her work has continued across solo recordings and a long-running collaboration with Luc De Larochellière, including C'est d'l'amour ou c'est comme. Entre le jazz et la java explored jazz standards in French and earned a Félix for jazz album of the year in 2016. Lindsay returned to original solo songs in 2025 with D'or et d'argent, a bilingual folk rock and pop album shaped by major changes in her family life. Produced by Philippe Brault and released through Les Disques de la Cordonnerie, the album anchors an active 2026 performance schedule in Quebec. Exact Spotify, Apple Music, label, booking, and public catalog records confirm the intended artist and her current activity.
