About

The artist

Anthony Kavanagh is a Montreal-based Canadian singer, comedian, actor, host, and voice performer. Born in Greenfield Park, Quebec, he began performing professionally in 1989 and built an international stage and television career across Canada and Europe. Music has remained central to his work through beatboxing, musical theatre, concert elements, and French-language voice performances for animated films including Mulan, Madagascar, The Princess and the Frog, Aladdin, and the Moana films. Kavanagh launched his solo recording project in 2020 with Let You Go, a pop track shaped by soul, blues rock, and electronic influences. The song reached number one on corresponding Quebec radio charts, followed by Got It, No Man Ever Told Ya, and the seven-track 2021 album Finally. His official biography records his 2017 return to settle in Montreal after years in Europe. A 2026 interview confirms that his family chose to remain in Quebec while he continues touring internationally and developing new stage work.
