The artist
ARDN is a Ugandan-Canadian rapper, singer and songwriter from Edmonton, Alberta. He began releasing independent projects with Goodwill in 2018 and “Alien” in 2020, developing a melodic hip-hop style centred on personal experience and resilient storytelling. After signing with Capitol Records in 2023, he expanded that approach through releases including PLAIN JANE, She. and the 2025 album KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE SPARROW. That album received a 2026 Juno nomination for Rap Album/EP of the Year. ARDN remained active in 2026 with the singles High Demand and WE CAME TO BLEED, while continuing to describe Edmonton as central to his writing and musical identity.
