About
The artist
Art of Dying is a Vancouver hard rock band led by singer Jonny Hetherington. The project grew from Hetherington's years performing on city streets into a full band known for muscular guitar arrangements, large choruses, and three-part vocal harmonies. Its independent self-titled debut appeared in 2006, followed by the Reprise Records album Vices and Virtues in 2011. Songs including Die Trying, Get Thru This, and Sorry became top-ten rock radio tracks, while touring with Disturbed helped introduce the band across the United States. Art of Dying later released Rise Up, Nevermore, Armageddon, Ready for a Good Time, and Won't Look Back while returning to artist-directed releases after its major-label period. The official biography records eight albums, more than 100,000 copies sold, and more than 200 million streams. In 2025 and 2026 the band began another release cycle with Flood Gates, My Private Revolution, The Edge, Clean Break, I Say Done, Any Day Now, and Step Up. The current professional contact route lists manager Tony Patoto of The Fuel Music.
