The artist

Awake & Dreaming is a four-piece alternative rock band based in Waterloo, Ontario. Vocalist and keyboardist Sasha Kristoff performs with guitarist Stefan Schneider, bassist Phil Lee, and drummer Ryan Dugal. The group combines intimate piano passages with distorted guitar, electronic textures, and large-scale rock arrangements. Early releases included the live solo piano recording Yesterday or Tomorrow and the single Old Ghosts in 2024. I U Me and Something To Believe In followed in 2025, developing the band's contrast between quiet verses and forceful choruses. New mixes prepared by engineer Jay Dufour and mastering engineer João Carvalho arrived in 2026, alongside the June single Antidote. The band has performed more than fifty shows, including two appearances at the Canadian National Exhibition and Ontario dates with Carole Pope in March 2026. Those dates concluded at Toronto's El Mocambo. Awake & Dreaming continues to perform across Ontario while preparing its debut album Inevitable.
