About

The artist

Bobby Bazini is a singer and songwriter from Mont-Laurier, Quebec. He grew up in a musical family listening to country, folk, blues, and soul, influences that shaped his warm baritone and direct approach to songwriting. His 2009 debut single I Wonder became a radio success in Quebec, and Better in Time followed in 2010. The album reached the Canadian top ten and earned platinum certification. Where I Belong arrived in 2014 and became one of that year's strongest-selling Canadian albums, followed by Summer Is Gone, Move Away, and Pearl. Bazini has worked with writers and producers in Canada, the United States, and Europe while retaining a sound rooted in acoustic instruments, soul phrasing, and classic song form. In 2025 he released Seul au cinéma, his first full album in French. Its nine songs use scenes from an empty movie theatre as a framework for identity, solitude, and the relationship between Bobby Bazini and his birth name, Bobby Bazinet. The project marked a deliberate return to his first language and Quebec musical influences. His official site documents an active 2026 tour, including a return performance in Mont-Laurier and dates across Quebec and Atlantic Canada.
