The artist
Buck 65 is the recording name of Toronto-based rapper, producer and DJ Rich Terfry. Emerging from Nova Scotia’s independent hip-hop scene in the 1990s, he developed a distinctive catalogue that mixes abstract rap, turntablism, blues, country, folk and electronic music. Releases such as Vertex, Talkin’ Honky Blues, Situation and Neverlove established his wide-ranging style. After resuming the project in 2020, he continued with new work including Super Dope, Punk Rock B-Boy, Keep Moving and Do Not Bend. MusicList uses a rights-clean monogram rather than unlicensed photography.
