Carter Felker is a country-folk singer and songwriter based in Calgary, Alberta. His 2016 debut album Everyday Life introduced a plain-spoken approach built on concise storytelling, fingerpicked guitar, and a reedy tenor. Even the Happy Ones Are Sad followed in 2022, sharpening his portraits of work, relationships, hometown routines, and people trying to preserve dignity through difficult circumstances. Felker's writing draws on classic country and folk traditions associated with John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, and Guy Clark while keeping its language rooted in contemporary Prairie life.
