About
The artist
Catherine MacLellan is a folk singer-songwriter based in her hometown of Summerside, Prince Edward Island. Active since the early 2000s, she has built a catalogue of seven albums shaped by acoustic songcraft, roots traditions and close observation of Island life. Her 2014 album The Raven’s Sun won the 2015 JUNO Award for Roots and Traditional Album of the Year: Solo, and her recent work includes the 2025 song Mary Ann and an eighth studio album in development during 2026. Her official site and first-party updates confirm her current Summerside and PEI base, while MusicBrainz, Apple Music and artist-controlled music pages establish the exact catalogue identity.
