About

The artist

Charlotte Cardin is a Montréal-born singer and songwriter whose work moves between English and French pop. After reaching the final round of La Voix in 2013, she established her recording career with the Big Boy and Main Girl EPs. Her debut album Phoenix arrived in 2021, followed by 99 Nights in 2023. Across those records, Cardin developed a restrained vocal style and a production language that combines alternative pop, soul, electronic textures, and piano-led songwriting. Phoenix earned four Juno Awards in 2022, while 99 Nights won Album of the Year and Pop Album of the Year at the 2024 Junos. Cardin's international profile expanded through Feel Good and Tant pis pour elle, recognition from Billboard Women in Music, and the 2026 female artist award at France's Victoires de la Musique. Her 2026 releases include The Way We Touch and Take Me Back, followed by a featured appearance on ElGrandeToto's PARADIS. Cardin has said that Paris has become home, while current reporting also says she retains a Montréal apartment and splits her time between the two cities. Her continuing Montréal residence, recording work with Montréal collaborators, and Quebec professional network support Montréal as a current Canadian base, presented transparently alongside Paris.
