The artist

Conro is the recording name of Kelowna-based producer, DJ, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Conor Patton. Born in Saskatchewan and raised in a musical family, he began violin at seven before adding piano, guitar, drums, and production. After early electronic releases in 2012, Conro developed a melodic approach that draws from folk, rock, classical training, house, future bass, and pop songwriting. He joined the Vancouver-founded Monstercat roster in 2016 with On My Way Up and built a run of singles and EPs including Connecting the Dots, All Eyes On Me, and Thrill of It. The 2020 album Level Days brought his vocals and songwriting to the foreground through Therapy, Fighters, The Small Things, and other dance-pop material. Melodramatic followed in 2023 and Violet Sky in 2024, alongside collaborations with Boslen, Zack Martino, Marlhy, Hollywood Principle, Haris, Dyro, Aviella, and other electronic artists. Patton later introduced the reversed-name alias oncor for a quieter chill-house direction, while maintaining links between both identities. Releases continued into 2026, including seasons change. Monstercat's current artist page documents both Conro and oncor material, an artist-controlled SoundCloud profile identifies Kelowna, and a 2025 local performance listing describes him as an internationally recognized Kelowna artist.
