The artist

Daniel James McFadyen is a Wolfville-based indie-folk singer-songwriter whose work draws on Americana, Canadiana and communal live energy. Born in Caledon, Ontario, he now calls Nova Scotia home, a current connection documented by his official site and artist-controlled Bandcamp page. His catalog includes the 2021 album “August, I’m Yours,” the 2023 EP “Songs To Show Your Friends” and the 2025 album “Back to the Country,” followed by a 2026 deluxe edition. McFadyen’s cross-Canada touring and expressive storytelling have built a growing audience, with current 2026 dates extending from Atlantic Canada through the Prairies and British Columbia.
