The artist

Drunk Cat is a Montréal hip-hop collective formed by vocalists Gogey Boy and LUIS SAINT ROSE, producer and vocalist bennyisjack, and visual collaborator hunam.io. The members come from different parts of Canada and have said that they met in Montréal, where informal sessions grew into the group. Their music moves between alternative rap, R&B, pop, punk energy, lo-fi textures, jazz, and funk, with the collective handling much of its sound and visual language in-house. The 2024 single Go Ahead led into the 2025 album DREAMS GONE PURPLE, which Bandcamp identifies with Montréal and credits to Drunk Cat and FOREVERCAREDFOR. WGO? and CANNON followed, while live collaboration with Montréal jazz-fusion group Crashlanders produced GO AHEAD (Live) in December 2025. The self-titled album Drunk Cat arrived in March 2026 with songs including MONEY MOVE, UNI, BATHROOM STALLS, and PLAYGROUND, followed by STUCK! in May. Apple Music identifies the current releases as alternative rap and includes the project in Northern Touch and New in Quebec Hip-Hop programming. Drunk Cat made its first festival appearance at NXNE in June 2026, where the festival's current profile identified the collective as Montréal-based, listed Montréal, Quebec as its hometown, named the members, and linked the exact Spotify and Apple Music profiles used here. A June 2026 artist interview independently explains that the members met in Montréal, while the official Bandcamp page also publishes Montréal, Québec. These current sources establish one collision-free collective and confirm its current Canadian city and province.
