The artist

Erika Raum is a classical violinist, chamber musician, recording artist, and educator based in Toronto. She performs as a member of the ARC Ensemble and teaches violin at both the University of Toronto Faculty of Music and The Glenn Gould School. Her professional work spans solo appearances, chamber collaborations, festival performances, and recordings. Raum won first place at the 1992 Joseph Szigeti International Violin Competition and received its award for the best interpretation of a Mozart concerto.
