About
The artist
Falcon Jane is the Shelburne, Ontario project led by songwriter Sara May with partner and bandmate Andrew McArthur. Emerging from rural Ontario, the band first described its gentle indie sound as “plez-rock” before moving toward alt-country and Americana. The 2018 album “Feelin’ Freaky” established the project, while 2020’s “Faith” explored memory, grief and self-trust. On the 2024 album “Legacy,” May drew on rural characters, family history and life in Shelburne across ten country-leaning songs. The group returned in 2026 with the three-song release “Sunrises.” MusicList uses a rights-clean monogram instead of unlicensed photography.
