Fito Blanko is the stage name of Toronto-based Panamanian-Canadian singer, songwriter, and producer Roberto E. Testa. Born in Panama and raised in Canada, he developed a bilingual approach that connects Panamanian dancehall and reggaeton with merengue, Latin pop, and North American hip-hop. He began writing as a teenager and released the album Higher Level through Universal Music Latino in 2004. His later independent work expanded through songs including VIP, Meneo, and Pegadito Suavecito.
