Florence K is the stage name of Montreal singer-songwriter, pianist, author, and psychology researcher Florence Khoriaty. Raised in a musical family, she developed a repertoire shaped by jazz, bossa nova, Cuban music, French chanson, and songs in French, English, Spanish, and Portuguese. After early work as a pianist and live performer, she established her recording career with the 2005 release Live au Lion d'Or. Bossa Blue followed in 2006, La historia de Lola in 2008, and the Christmas album Havana Angels in 2010.
