Gabriella is the performing name of Montreal singer-songwriter, violinist, guitarist, pianist, and arranger Gabriella Laberge. Born in Saint-Basile-le-Grand, she began violin at six, added singing after a hand injury at eleven, and later studied recording, composition, career management, and jazz. She began a solo path at eighteen and worked as a backing vocalist before recording her own material. Only You and Cloud in the Sky appeared in 2014, followed by the While the Oak... EP and the long-form The Story of Oak & Leafless in 2015.
