About
The artist
UK-born producer and DJ Mickhel Patterson records as Gl0bal from British Columbia. He first built his catalog around hard-edged trap, dubstep, and bass music, releasing through labels including Circus Records and Subsidia and appearing at festivals such as Lost Lands and Shambhala. His 2023 debut album Judgement Day expanded that sound through a cinematic eight-track sequence, while later releases and performances increasingly blend Afro-house, Afrobeats, dancehall, and global club styles. His current catalog includes the 2025 EPs Dreams and Chop Shop and the 2026 single So So Bad with Minz. Gl0bal has received multiple Western Canadian Music Award nominations for Electronic Artist of the Year and continues to perform and release from British Columbia.
