About

The artist

Glass Apple Bonzai is an industrial synth-pop project from Niagara Falls, Ontario, created by musician, producer and engineer Daniel Belasco. Launched in 2013, the project combines darkwave and EBM textures with melodic synth-pop, drawing openly on the electronic music of the 1980s while maintaining a personal, studio-built sound. Its extensive catalog includes the 2014 self-titled debut, “Perpetuum Nocturna Diaboli,” “The All-Nite Starlite Electronic Café,” “The Blush,” and “Brother Bones.” New releases in 2025 and 2026, including “Bag of Bones” and “I Am a Machine,” document an active current phase.
