About
The artist
Good Kid is a five-member indie rock band based in Toronto, Ontario. The current lineup is vocalist Nick Frosst, guitarists Jacob Tsafatinos and David Wood, bassist Michael Kozakov, and drummer Jon Kereliuk. Formed in 2015, the group developed a fast, melodic sound influenced by indie rock, J-rock, pop-punk, and guitar pop. Its wider creative world includes the recurring character Nomu, animated videos, games, and connected stories built with a visual team. Good Kid also permits online creators to use its music without conventional Content ID or DMCA restrictions, a policy that helped the band reach gaming and streaming communities before its growth as a touring act. After four numbered EPs and a sequence of standalone songs, Good Kid released its first full-length studio album, Can We Hang Out Sometime?, through Good People Record Co. in April 2026. The album was recorded in Los Angeles with producer John Congleton, while a direct interview during the supporting tour documented the band's continuing Toronto base, regular rehearsal practice, current lineup, and independent operation. The exact Spotify artist identity contains 30 primary album and single containers from October 2015 through April 2026: two albums and 28 provider-classified singles. Five multi-track projects, including the four numbered Good Kid releases and Acoustic Kid, remain classified as singles by Spotify even though they are presented editorially as EPs elsewhere. Ghost King's Revenge is a 21-track original game soundtrack. This count is a provider snapshot rather than a complete work-level discography. Current artist-controlled Bandcamp and Apple Music profiles also identify Toronto, Ontario, and current official pages document an active 2026 international tour. Professional messages route through the band's official website or artist-controlled Bandcamp contact page. No direct personal contact information is republished, and Spotify media is displayed remotely with provider attribution.
