Goodnight Sunrise is a Toronto rock duo led by keytarist and vocalist Vanessa Vakharia and guitarist and vocalist David Kochberg. Formed in 2011, the project has moved through alternative rock, pop rock, pop-punk, and classic-rock influences while building its identity around dual lead vocals and an energetic live show. The band originally released music as Goodnight, Sunrise before removing the comma from its name. Its fourth full-length album, GET A LIFE, arrived through Rejection Records in May 2025. Produced, mixed, and engineered by Ryan Worsley, the record followed the 2022 album Against All Odds and continued the duo's mix of confessional writing, heavy guitar parts, synthesizer textures, and melodic hooks. The February 2026 single Over You arrived while Vakharia and Kochberg were writing the next album and discussing their work through a band-created podcast.
