The artist

GreenWoodz is the performing name of Tommy Boisvert, a rapper and singer from Quebec's Lanaudière region who is now based in Montréal. Active since 2019, he first developed an audience through independent releases made with producer Cook Da Beatz, including the 2020 project Are You Ok? and the 2021 album Late Night & Heartbreaks. His songs move between French and English and combine emo rap, melodic hip-hop, folk, pop, and rock. GreenWoodz joined Disques 7ième Ciel near the end of 2022 and released his first full album for the label, TPL, in September 2023. The follow-up, Malgré la tempête, arrived in May 2025 and received a deluxe edition in June 2026.
