The artist

Hanorah is a Montréal singer-songwriter, performer, and visual artist. Her early work centred a powerful soul voice and emotionally direct writing, leading to the 2019 multi-track release For the Good Guys and the Bad Guys and extensive touring across Canada and the United States. She later expanded that foundation on Perennial, a 10-track debut album released through Ensoul Records in October 2022. The record combines soul ballads and R&B grooves with arrangements built to foreground the range and texture of her voice. Time Waits For No Woman followed in 2023, focusing on the pressures placed on women working in music.
