About

The artist

Jack Grunsky is a Toronto singer-songwriter, producer, visual artist, and children's performer with a recording career spanning Europe and Canada. After finishing high school in Toronto in 1964, he moved to Vienna, formed the folk group Jack's Angels, and recorded for Amadeo before developing a solo career in Europe. He returned to Canada with his family in 1974 and resumed his career in Toronto, first in folk and rock settings and then through performances and workshops for young audiences. Classroom work in Greater Toronto helped lead him toward original children's music, school programs, touring, and a substantial family catalog. His recordings under his own name won JUNO Awards for Waves of Wonder, Sing and Dance, and My Beautiful World; he also produced the JUNO-winning Sing With Fred. Later projects broadened his recorded work through adult contemporary, nu-jazz, folk, and instrumental material, while performances with his daughter Cosima Grunsky developed a father-daughter branch of his live work. His exact Spotify identity contains 26 distinct primary album and single containers from 1970 through May 2026: 23 provider-classified albums and three singles. The recent catalog includes the 38-track collaborative album Two Worlds One Memory in 2025 and the single Put a Little Love in Your Heart in 2026, confirming that the recording project remains active. The current official biography says he is living in Toronto again and continues to describe new recording, school-show, family-performance, production, and visual-art projects. English and French public copy, translation provenance, current Toronto evidence, award wording, Spotify media attribution, and the exact publication payload were reviewed together.
