About

The artist

Jeff Tymoschuk is a Canadian composer for film, television, games, theatre, and production music. Originally from Souris, Manitoba, he moved to the Vancouver region in 1992 and began scoring films in 1999. His early game work included James Bond 007: Nightfire, additional music for James Bond: Everything or Nothing and The Simpsons: Hit & Run, and later scores for Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice, the DeathSpank series, Penny Arcade Adventures, and Sleeping Dogs. His screen catalog includes Altitude, Leprechaun: Origins, The Marine 4: Moving Target, Below Zero, Brazen, and a long run of television movies. He has written for Aurora Teagarden Mysteries, Murder She Baked, Gourmet Detective, Signed, Sealed, Delivered, and several Hallmark productions. A current 2025 filmography from Core Music Agency adds The Empty Nest and multiple 2024 projects, while the artist-controlled GreenWire site documents continued scoring work and a 2024 Leo Award win. Tymoschuk won the 2024 Leo Award for Best Musical Score in a Television Movie for Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Murder in G Major. He also received two Game Audio Network Guild awards in 2003 for James Bond 007: Nightfire, recognizing interactive music and arrangement of a non-original theme. His exact Spotify identity contains three distinct primary containers from November 2011 through April 2021: one album, one five-track EP, and one single. Spirited is a twelve-track production-music album made with Benson Taylor and Fired Earth Music. Delightful Delicacies is a five-track collaboration with Bartosch McCarthy, and Next Steps is a GreenWire Music and Audio single. Apple Music, Spotify, the official GreenWire site, and the current agency profile resolve to the same composer and catalog. The Spotify performer catalog is narrower than his screen-credit catalog, so production and score credits are recorded separately rather than counted as releases. Current location evidence uses Burnaby as the municipality because Tymoschuk's self-managed professional profile identifies Burnaby, British Columbia. His official GreenWire profile, artist-controlled SoundCloud, and Core Music Agency all use Vancouver as the broader professional-market label. Burnaby is within Metro Vancouver, so those labels are regionally consistent rather than a current-location conflict. The SoundCloud account also published score material in January 2025, and Core's current 2025 filmography records active work through 2025. GreenWire Music and Audio is his professional home with sound designer Dave Stephens, and Core Music Agency handles representation. Public inquiries are routed through GreenWire's official contact page without republishing individual agent or personal email addresses. English and French public copy, translation provenance, catalog counts, identity, current-location evidence, Spotify media attribution, awards, and the exact publication payload were reviewed together.
