About
The artist
Keeper E. is the Montréal-based indie-pop and electronic-pop project of Nova Scotia-born singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Adelle Elwood. She began learning violin and piano in childhood, then completed a Bachelor of Music at Mount Allison University with a focus on classical piano and composition. While studying in Sackville, New Brunswick, she began turning journal writing and acoustic sketches into original songs. The Keeper E. catalog opened with Please Don't Tell Me in September 2020. Her first seven-track collection, The Sparrows All Find Food, arrived through LHM Records in April 2021 and combined direct songwriting with layered synthesizers, programmed rhythm, and self-production. Music Nova Scotia named the project New Artist Recording of the Year in 2021, and it also received a Pop Recording of the Year nomination. Thank U and Please and Don't Go followed in May 2022 as another seven-track collection that Elwood composed, produced, and engineered in her Halifax bedroom. The project received 2022 Music Nova Scotia nominations for both New Artist Recording of the Year and Pop Recording of the Year. Subsequent releases include Nothing Going On and Let It Die in 2023, followed by I Don't Wanna Talk with waants in March 2025. Keeper E.'s exact Spotify identity currently contains fifteen primary album and single containers from September 2020 through March 2025: three provider-classified albums and twelve singles. Contemporary coverage often describes the two original seven-song collections as EPs, while Spotify and Apple Music group them with albums; MusicList preserves the provider grouping in its catalog totals and treats the sped-up alternate collection as a separate album container. Keeper E. has appeared in Canadian and international showcase programs, including Music Nova Scotia export events, the East Coast Music Awards festival, and The Great Escape. Her current activity includes a scheduled September 2026 performance at POP Montréal. A professional event biography published for a December 2025 performance states that Elwood was born in Nova Scotia and now resides in Montréal, which resolves Montréal and Quebec as the current public location. Her active official site links the matching Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube identities. MusicList routes public inquiries through that official site, uses live Spotify-attributed media with a monogram fallback, and does not reproduce personal contact information.
