The artist
La Parranda Venezolana is a Venezuelan folk ensemble based in Calgary, Alberta. Founded in 2014, the group preserves and develops Venezuelan musical traditions through collective vocals, percussion and cuatro while building cultural exchange with Canadian audiences. Its debut album ECOS was released in December 2025 and connects ancestral repertoire, migration and contemporary world-music practice.
