About
The artist
LARCHE is the music project of Montréal singer-songwriter, actor, and screenwriter Marc-Antoine Larche. Public professional sources identify him as a Val-d'Or-born Quebec artist who moved to Montréal for music and theatre studies, and a direct 2022 Journal de Montréal interview confirms that he lives and works in the city while retaining a strong Abitibi identity. His artist-controlled Bandcamp describes a songwriting career beginning in 2009, and his current agency profile continues to identify singing and songwriting among his professional practices while documenting Quebec screen work through 2024 and development activity in 2025 and 2026. The exact Spotify identity uses the name LARCHE and contains twenty-four principal release containers after first-artist matching and title-date reconciliation. Spotify classifies three as albums and twenty-one as singles, spanning March 2014 through December 2023. Several multi-track EP-format projects are counted as singles because that is Spotify's provider type. Representative releases include Un abri pour attendre minuit (2023), Western, Il était une fois un garçon comme toi (Deluxe), Il était une fois un garçon comme toi, and Les petits effondrements. His artist-controlled credits document Marc-Antoine Larche as the writer, composer, singer, and instrumentalist on this material. They assign record realization and recording to Navet Confit, mixing to Ghyslain Luc Lavigne and other collaborators, and mastering to named engineers. A production line on the self-released Les petits effondrements page is preserved as project production, not treated as evidence of record-production or engineering work. MusicList therefore classifies LARCHE as an artist only. The project won both the jury and audience awards at the first FRIMAT in 2005, and later appeared in Quebec song competitions and festivals. Public professional inquiries are routed through the artist-controlled Bandcamp contact form without republishing direct contact details. The exact English and French payload was reviewed for identity, current Canadian and Quebec confirmation, Montréal wording, activity, catalog reconciliation, genres, artist-only role classification, achievement, relationships, safe contact routing, provider-attributed media, and translation quality.
