The artist

Les sœurs Boulay are the Montréal-based duo of sisters Mélanie and Stéphanie Boulay, originally from New Richmond in the Gaspésie region of Quebec. They write and sing in French, pairing two-part harmony with guitar, ukulele, piano, folk and country foundations, and later pop and electronic arrangements. Their professional career took shape after they won the 2012 Francouvertes.
