About

The artist

Malaimé Soleil is a pop-rock quartet based in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec. Current 2026 profiles from the Festival international de la chanson de Granby and Le Canal Auditif identify the group as based in Saint-Hyacinthe, while a direct March 2026 interview with singer and guitarist Francis Leclerc explains that the band has intentionally remained rooted there instead of relocating to Montréal. The current lineup is Francis Leclerc on voice, guitar, and percussion, Vincent Deit on guitar, percussion, and synthesizers, Antoine St-Onge on bass, percussion, and guitar, and Alexandre Crépeau on drums and percussion. Apple Music dates the band's formation to 2019. Malaimé Soleil first released the four-track Tranquille in April 2020 and participated in the 25th Francouvertes edition in 2021. The group won the Cabaret Festif jury prize in 2022, along with most of the partner prizes presented at the final. Its first full album, Tempête, arrived through Folivora Records in September 2023. The exact Spotify identity contains ten principal album and single containers from April 2020 through March 2026. All ten are led by Malaimé Soleil and survive identity reconciliation. Spotify classifies two as albums and eight as singles, including the multi-track Tranquille, Fumée, and L'amour en sang releases. Representative releases include Tranquille, Fumée, Tempête, Quessé, and Fragile. The second album, Fragile, appeared in March 2026 with eight tracks and began an extensive Quebec tour that included multiple sold-out dates, a Club Soda launch during Francos de Montréal, La Noce, and Festival d'été de Québec. The artist-controlled Fragile credits identify Malaimé Soleil, David Marchand, and Francis Ledoux in production. That explicit group-level production credit supports inclusion in both MusicList's artist and producer categories. The same credits identify Folivora Records as label, Agence Àpart for management and booking, DOZE Publishing, Francis Ledoux for recording and mixing, and JP Villemure for mastering. Professional inquiries are routed through Malaimé Soleil's current page at Agence Àpart. MusicList does not republish the direct email address shown there. The exact English and French payload was reviewed for identity, current Saint-Hyacinthe residence, lineup, activity, provider-scoped catalog, producer classification, award, touring milestones, professional relationships, safe contact routing, provider-attributed media, and translation quality.
