The artist
Mat Elliott is a Halifax singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer whose solo work blends indie soul, yacht-rock nostalgia and modern alternative pop. Raised in Truro, he made his solo debut with the 2024 EP South Endings, a five-song set built around thoughtful lyrics, lush synths and laid-back guitar grooves. His award-nominated work has grown into the 2026 full-length Video Games, while his live and studio practice continues through collaborations with Future Dad, Ashton Wisener, Kendall Jones and other Atlantic Canadian musicians.
