About

The artist

Miriodor is a Quebec ensemble founded in 1980 by Pascal Globensky and François Émond. The group moved from Quebec City to Montreal in 1984 and developed a distinctive instrumental language across progressive rock, jazz, chamber music, and Rock in Opposition. Its catalogue includes Rencontres, Miriodor, 3è Avertissement, Jongleries Élastiques, Mekano, Parade + Live at NEARfest, Avanti!, Cobra Fakir, and Signal 9. Cuneiform Records describes Signal 9 as the band's ninth album, released in 2017, recorded in Montréal, and performed by Bernard Falaise, Pascal Globensky, Rémi Leclerc, and Nicolas Lessard. Current Spotify and Apple Music profiles preserve the exact group identity and catalogue, while the label page documents its continuing Canadian roots.
