About

The artist

Formed in 2009 in Hamilton, Ontario, Monster Truck emerged as one of Canada's most celebrated modern hard rock acts, championed for their infectious fuzz riffs, blues-rock swagger, and thunderous rhythm section. Fronted by bassist and lead vocalist Jon Harvey alongside guitarist Jeremy Widerman, keyboardist Brandon Bliss, and drummer Theo McKibbon, the band scored major mainstream rock radio hits with anthems like Don't Tell Me How to Live, Sweet Mountain River, and Seven Seas Blues. In 2013, Monster Truck won the JUNO Award for Breakthrough Group of the Year and subsequently earned multiple JUNO nominations for Rock Album of the Year for their acclaimed full-length records Furiosity (2013), Sittin' Heavy (2016), and True Rockers (2018). Having toured worldwide with Slash, Alice in Chains, Nickelback, and Deep Purple, Monster Truck remains an enduring cornerstone of the Canadian rock landscape.
