The artist
Nathan Trentleman is a Nova Scotia singer-songwriter and one of the two lead singers and the main songwriter of the country-rock band Nine Mile River. Based in the Annapolis Valley, he describes the group's sound as modern country rock with a welcoming, dance-ready live feel and locally known originals. His solo-linked release Tomorrow arrived in 2025, while Nine Mile River's live work and the Runnin' Away Music Nova Scotia nomination place his songwriting in the current Atlantic Canadian scene.
