About
The artist
Nightflyer is an electronic music producer and composer based in Toronto, Ontario. Drawing deep inspiration from 1980s cinema soundtracks, retro computing aesthetics, and analog synthesizer design, Nightflyer emerged within the international chillsynth and synthwave communities in the late 2010s. His signature sound is defined by lush analog pads, intricate melodic hooks, and euphoric nostalgia, leading to widespread features on influential curation platforms including Electronic Gems, NewRetroWave, and Definition of Chill. Through releases such as his 2020 EP Perception and the full-length tape release Imaginings on Stereoscape Records, alongside standout tracks like Stratosphere and Lost Light, Nightflyer has earned a devoted global following while firmly rooted in Toronto's indie electronic scene.
