The artist

Peanut Butter Sunday is an Acadian pop-punk band from Baie Sainte-Marie, Nova Scotia, built around Normand Pothier, Michael Saulnier, Jacques Blinn and Andre LeBlanc. The quartet draws on Blink-182, Thursday and Saves the Day while foregrounding the distinct accent, humour and culture of the Acadian coast. Their releases include the 2022 album Quoi-ce y'a pour souper?, the 2023 deluxe edition, and a run of 2024–2025 singles including Fort McMurray, Compliqué, Mermaid and Peanut Butter Sunday. The band reached the semi-finals of the 2023 Francouvertes, opened for Green Day at Festival d'été de Québec, and remains part of Acadian Embassy's Nova Scotia artist roster.
