About

The artist

PUDDY formed in Timmins, Ontario in 1993 before becoming part of Toronto’s independent rock scene. The band built its reputation on forceful live performances and the 2000 album “Sweetspot,” mixing stoner-rock weight with punk energy and melodic songwriting. After a long quiet period, PUDDY returned in 2023 with remastered catalog material, new singles and sold-out shows. Their 2025 album “Demagogo,” co-produced by Paolo Rizzo and Andy Curran, continued the comeback with nine fuzz-heavy songs. The group remained active in 2026 with new recordings and Ontario performances. MusicList uses a rights-clean monogram instead of unlicensed photography.
