About

The artist

Rarity is a post-hardcore band from Hamilton, Ontario, formed in 2014. The quartet’s music sits between punk urgency, heavy rock and emo melody, turning tension and vulnerability into forceful, communal songs. Early releases introduced the band through Rise Records, while later albums “The Longest Lonesome” and “Lower Feeling” expanded its darker and more dynamic sound through New Damage Records. In 2026, Rarity returned with “The First Wave,” “The Second Wave” and the single “MIRA,” alongside live performances of new material. Current artist-controlled and DSP pages continue to identify Hamilton as the band’s home. MusicList uses a rights-clean monogram instead of unlicensed photography.
