The artist
Rich Aucoin is a Halifax musician, producer and composer known for expansive electronic-pop records and immersive, communal live shows. His catalogue runs from the 2007 debut We're All Dying to Live through Ephemeral, Release and United States to the four-part Synthetic project, recorded with vintage synthesizers at Calgary's National Music Centre. Aucoin's creative work has travelled across North and South America, Europe, Australia and Japan, while his endurance tours by bicycle and on foot have raised money for charity. Synthetic Season 4 arrived in 2025 and the single Disbelief followed in May 2026, keeping an active, exploratory practice in motion.
