About

The artist

SayWeCanFly is the long-running singer-songwriter project of Braden Barrie, based in Toronto, Ontario. Barrie began sharing bedroom-recorded acoustic songs in 2009 and built an international audience through emotionally open writing, extensive touring and appearances on the Vans Warped Tour. The catalog spans stripped-down emo and indie pop as well as collaborations with electronic producers, including songs that reached festival stages at Red Rocks. Recent albums “Beneath the Roses” and “Bury The Roses” led into the 2026 single “Treading Water.” Current official DSP profiles identify Toronto and document the project’s continued independent activity. MusicList uses a rights-clean monogram instead of unlicensed photography.
